Tata Vista VX Tech launched at Rs. 6.19 lakh

Tata has launched a limited edition Vista VX Tech variant that essentially packs in some equipments from the discontinued D90 ZX+ diesel hot hatch along with the introduction of a new ‘Chill Blue’ exterior colour.

The Tata Vista VX Tech comes with the instrument binnacle (with a driver information system) mounted ahead of the steering wheel along with back lit steering mounted audio controls for the 6.5 inch double-din touch screen infotainment system that features Bluetooth, USB CD, DVD, AUX and radio compatibility complimented by satellite navigation.

The Vista model line-up comes with dual tone interiors, fabric seats and inside door handles with chrome embellishments and in 3 variants, namely, LS, LX and VX Tech. The LX trim is available only with the 1.4 litre TDI BS III compliant diesel engine developing 71PS of power @ 4,500 rpm and 135.4Nm of torque @ 2,500 rpm.  The LS trim is available with both the 1.4 litre  motor  as well as the BS IV compliant 1.3 litre Quadrajet diesel engine. The top-end limited edition VX Tech variant is offered with the 1.3 litre, diesel engine. The Vista’s 1.3 litre diesel engine develops 75PS of power @ 4,000 rpm and 190Nm of torque between 1,750 rpm and 3,000 rpm.  The petrol engine option for the Vista is a 1.2 litre unit developing 65PS of power @ 5,500 rpm and 96Nm of torque @ 3,000 rpm.

Prices for the Tata Vista range between Rs.5.01 lakh for Vista LS, and go up to Rs.6.19 lakh for the Vista VX Tech (ex-showroom Mumbai).
